The director of Project Linus picked up the blankets today and it took my 5th period students many trips to fill the cars with blankets. All of you are Philanthropists. Thank you for your time, fleece donations, money, and hard work making the blankets. I am so filled with joy and, as always, I am so proud to say that I am a teacher at Covington Middle School. Open to students in 7th through 12th grade, the Scholastic Art Awards is one of the Nation's oldest and most prestigious art events. Judged on creativity, originality, and craftsmanship, this rigorous competition had over a thousand entries from Central Texas.
